Ella Raymont

Sommelier, Wine Educator, Creative

For 8 years, Ella has been in the business of wine and hospitality but even before that, she had a love for performing and telling stories. Like most, she got her start in restaurants as a server and bartender. She lucked out in working for Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises where she worked with passionate wine educators and sommeliers that sparked her curiosity. From there, Ella was catapulted into a love and respect for all things wine, working in retail sales, distribution, education and tech writing. In 2019, she began as a floor sommelier at the Chicago Gold Coast restaurant, Esquire, which is the flagship restaurant of the Cooper's Hawk Winery team. In 2020, Ella made the move out to Santa Fe, New Mexico and served as Wine Director/Sommelier at Bishop's Lodge: An Auberge Collection Resort and most recently served as Wine Director/Wine Shop Manager at La Casa Sena. Ella marries her love of performance and storytelling with her technical knowledge of the wine industry to make wine exciting, accessible and impactful for YOU. Ella celebrates championing biodiversity, innovation and equity in the industry. She thinks you should too.
